HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Nov 11, 2014) - Intergraph will host a CAESAR II webinar on November 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. CT that will discuss how to resolve non-linear situations that can occur during pipe stress analysis of models that cause non-convergence conditions and failure to launch. While CAESAR II can model many of these nonlinear restraint conditions that occur in the field such as liftoff supports, gaps and restraints and friction that can be resolved using the F=KX approach, sometimes the interaction of these nonlinear conditions and the applied loads cannot be resolved with this approach used by most pipe stress packages today. The webinar will discuss this issue and provide an approach for resolving the failure to launch problem. The webinar leader will be David Diehl, the lead instructor for CAESAR II and the manager of all training for Intergraph CADWorx & Analysis Solutions.
